Had fun last night at Hot Rod. Got some great dancer shots and performance shots too. I had to get together some sister photos for Eddie. I have a system of sending them online now so I dont have to wait to send him CDs. [...] I did not go out for xmas day….decided to rest at home. And I skipped the drag show on monday. But last night was fairly busy at the club and I had a nice time. I got some really good shots. [...] I went to Anthony and Chris’ new monthly event at Gauntlet called Screw. It was a lotta fun. I miss the east side often times but still am glad I am not living over there since I have a nicer place now. I plan on going tonight to Decade at Mickys. [...] Pretty routine last night. Nothing that exciting for me. I took hand full of shots. It can be a challenge to shoot people-of-color because of the shadows and contrast. Here are samples tho. [...] I was pretty beat by the time I arrived, however I still had a good time and got good shots of the boys. Here are some samples. I had a really fun time at the drag show. Jackie was at her prime during a beating of an audience member with a cane. But in all seriousness, they were entertaining and looked great. [...] I went last night to a mock wake as a going away party for my friend Shane. Then to a xmas gig at Spit Club. I enjoyed it and met some new people. Today I went to a new astrology group in Santa Monica. They are not as structured as the Hollywood one, but [...] Had a very long day with two events. Parker Williams was the guest. He photographed well. And then I stayed for College night called Dirty Pop for Anthony. I experimented with ISO settings and found my original thoughts were right. Very high ISO produces way too much noise even though it allows for some [...] I have not been as active with the camera lately. I just need a break for a few days. So I took it. I did take a few shots for Mickys Play. Of course the wet shorts contest is always good for several shots. Then yesterday I went on a daytrip downtown LA and [...] No photo events and I did not go to anniversary party on sunday (bad me). I needed a break and trying to get settled into my new place more. I moved a few things around and changed/rearranged things. I am comfortable and just trying to adjust to the noise levels at night. I guess [...] Of course I had a terrific time at Cocktails with the Stars at mickys with the monthly DJ Chi Chi LaRue and several of her boy porn stars. Johnny Hazzard was the main guest. Other appearances were made by Arpad Miklos, Trevor Knight, Rod Barry, David Phoenix, and Jacob Slader [...] I took a break after Cracked Xmas on sunday and have not shot any photos. I will be doing the Cocktail hour tonight at 6pm with Johnny Hazzard. Should be fun. I will post some of the Cracked pics that I left off here on sunday. [...] I had a very nice time at the Trevor Project Cracked Xmas event last evening. I saw all the Desperate Housewives, Caroline Rhea, Jennifer Coolidge, The Bangles, and lots of fun drag queens and drag nuns [...] Chi Chi LaRue Cort Donovan and Synergy Geo Chris from Mike Hancock Kris from Randy Blue I had a nice time at the weho awards even though I did not win in my category since I think it was rigged Anyway it was nice to see friends and enjoyed the show. Here are some [...] Pretty quiet and uneventful due to holiday season. I went tuesday to Play and it was about the same. Some hotties in the wet shorts contest. Stopped by Hot Rod early and visited with Joe and his friends. Settled on rent amount and talked about noise of dog and few other things. Overall things [...] |
