I stopped by Sunset Junction yesterday later in the afternoon and only got a few shots. I think it should be enough for the magazine to use. I saw a lot of east siders. Sometimes I wonder if I should move back to Silverlake. But then I remember all the ghetto aspects and decide it is nicer for me to stay out west. I deserve to have some comfort in my life after a good part of the last 5 years was spent close to poverty.

I had fun with the new drag hostess called CoCo who is subbing for Jason for a few weeks. She was entertaining and asked Cole some funny questions. She was good at getting audience participation too. I actually think it would be a nice idea to have her and Jason take turns hosting to spice it up and not get to stale. Hmmmmm.

Astrology Group

I have been going now to study with a new astrologer which Lynn Rodden trained with. Her name is Gloria Stein. There is a group of 5-7 that come ever week and go through some exercises in chart reading. Its about hour and half on tuesdays. I am enjoying it so far. Yesterday we did the chart of Jane Russell, for those older you should remember she got famous doing bra commercials for larger breasted/figured women. Hence her information was very interesting to analyze. I am always looking for more people who find an interest in astrology. If anyone reading this has studied it or has interest in it, please email me. Today I went to see my therapist. It helps me to talk through my few life issues with a third party which I can trust. I do not have real problems at the moment really, other than determining what I should do about my home life (roomie and such). I think its stable for now. He has not talked to me in days and assume if he changed his mind about me living in his house, he would tell me. I am unsure though. I am just going day by day and when time comes, I will find my own apartment. My time frame is 6 months to a year.

Flea Market

Yesterday Edna and I went to the Melrose High Flea Market. I actually have never been there. It was mostly just junk. I did see some things the sisters would have liked and was tempted to buy a few knick knacks. But I was good and did not spend any money. I am trying my best to save money for my trip next month to san fran. Today I am spending the day in Long Beach. I had the need to get far away from west hollywood.

Cocktail hour was nice with Doug Jeffries and Luca DiCorso. The crowd was pretty light so I didnt stay too long. I got shots needed and left. Oh the starbucks near my house that is deemed “Gay Starbucks” is all remodeled. Seems okay. Not too big of a difference really. I do like the desk with lamps and plugs. I am not sure what they were thinking with the cattle line walls in the center but oh well. Not really a lot else going on. Still a bit unsettled over the roomie / plumber thing. Since I have been uplifted from my home a total of 5 times in the last 5 years, I freak when anything threatening happens in my living circumstance. I am looking into possibilities of getting my own place. There will be complications but it may be possible. So if anyone reading this knows of a small studio on the west side for not too expensive, do let me know.
