It was a busy week with time spent in the darkroom at school as well as shooting a few events. Cocktails with Ricky Martinez went smoothly even though he came very late. Scott put him into the shower and I got some really great shots. Yesterday I went to school and the teacher showed us a PBS special on Annie Leibovitz. She has quite an interesting career as a photographer. She started out on Rolling Stone staff in the 70s then Vanity Fair and a multitude of free lance work. She is one of the most famous photographers of our time. I found it interesting comparing how her work is all urbanity and people where as Ansel Adams was remote and landscapes and no people. Food for thought.
