A shot from the plane My cousin David and wife Simone I had a very nice relaxing trip back home visiting with parents and nieces and such. I am glad I do not live in the midwest though. Wow, seriously closed minded when it comes to my hair. However I enjoyed visiting with [...] Chi Chi LaRue Cort Donovan Mario Cruz Scott and Mario Colin and Mario Colin ONeil Spent the start of the week doing a project for my class. I took pictures of a room studio apartment that a friend lives in. I got some really nice shots. Yesterday we had a house full of stars. Colin [...] Can you say beefcake Marc was a nice guest and as an added attraction, Scott got the go go boy named David to come up on stage. Shame that he was straight I guess they like having all the attention as a woman would not give them. Oh, I went with friend to see FUR which is indie film about Diane Arbus. It was very good. The one character was fictional, but overall the film was quite interesting in how it portrayed how Diane might have felt and acted. I think most artists are a little nutty but she had difficulty being a 50s housewife and wanting to be a creative photographer. I have always found her work to be fascinating. I went a few years ago to the museum and saw the exhibit which included a lot of history and even some of her cameras. I have not done real work for a few days as I have been doing administrative tasks like paying bills, running to the post office, grocery shopping, and all the things in life that are not photo related. Sometimes certain tasks can take an entire day because I rely on public transit in los angeles. It is not that it fails to deliver me on time, but that it often takes a long time since the area is so spread out. The only time I have issues is late at night. But I live in a common area that is easily accessible. Even if I could afford a car again, I believe in saving our planet from global warming by using mass transit that runs on natural gas. If a few people reading this felt the same, perhaps we could save the planet from roasting like a cinder View of Pasadena freeway Love Shenaynay’s Boots Afloat Sushi Bar Metrolink Train at Union Station You guessed it, me Well I took a fun trip on the yellow line to Pasadena for a change of pace. Scott is getting better at involving the audience and keeping their interest. I found myself laughing at some of the jokes. Oh and one of the regular patrons told me they [...] I had fun at the halloween festival held in weho on the boulevard. It got extremely crowded towards the end of the night. I think over half a million came. There was a point where I could not even move through. It seemed like many people dressed up. A lot of my friends think it has gotten too straight and they come to view the freak homos. But I just think its becoming more diverse. I did not get bad energy from people at all. They all seemed to be having fun. I was surprised that the city did not schedule better talent. I did not even bother going to the stages. I think the main hit was Tiffany. She seems to be at every gay venue these days. I guess she has a following. Here are some fun pics I took. |
