So since I have not done this before, I decided it would be best to go to a college game with easier access. I actually had a good time and learned a little about shooting this type of event. Since it was outdoors in sunlight, I did not have to be too concerned about lighting problems as would have been the case for indoor sports. I want to try a swimming meet next time. I guess that [...] Victor Banda Scott spanks Kris Guest from audience Victor Victor backside Victor again It was a fairly slow night but I was somewhat unmotivated since Dennis (the manager of the club) informed me that they will no longer need photographs for this weekly event. He said they will use me for special occasions still. [...] I had a really great afternoon at the street fair. I am not sure why there are not more in this city since the weather is perfect for it most of the year. Please enjoy the photos above. I had an event today and finally ran into my previous partner Tony, which I knew was bound to happen sooner or later since we have some of the same events. Anyway we spoke for a while and decided it would be best to just let the past be the past and not have any hard feelings for each other. We have distinctly different styles of photography, and I guess that is what got in our way. I still feel there are some things Tony should appreciate from me, like a lot of business contacts which I introduced him to. Also, back then I felt he stole a lot of my work, and I was not happy about that. But in the end it seems to have turned out that we both can do our own work without any conflicts. I was getting rather tired of going to dragstrip at the wee hours of the morning and having to ride a bus home and get to bed so late. So at any rate, I am sorry for the angry remarks I made before, and I hope that we both can just do our own thing with success for both of us. |
