I went on a short vacation with my family to Orlando. I enjoyed it for the most part. I had a feeling it was just for children but there were things of interest to adults there also. I took my small travel camera so I only got 100 or so photos (nothing in my [...] I went again for a day trip to the downtown area as I felt the need to get urban. I first went to the central library and noticed how it has gotten an increased population of homeless people. I feel strongly that the situation for homeless in LA (and california) is unacceptable. Its pretty upscale. There is a canal there similar to venice but nicer. The weather was quite nice [...] I have a friend who works at the faire and got me free tickets. So I figured out the mass transit options to get there and went. I had a really nice afternoon with all the performers and perfect weather. I took several photos of course. I got some awesome shots with people in [...] I got an assignment from my professor to go on the spur of the moment to the downtown rally to learn how to cover a real news story.
